While he loved the desert lifestyle he loved chocolate making more and by 1981 the Ethel M® Chocolate kitchen was on display and the first chocolate collections were for sale. Who’s Ethel M? Ethel Mars is the inspiration behind these fine gourmet chocolates. It was her dedication to quality, taste and artistry that impressed Forrest as a young boy.
